These
awards are to be allocated primarily according to financial need as judged
by the cheapest return airfare to the conference destination and degree
of alternative financial support. Applicants must be presenting work at
the conference to be eligible for an award. Grants will be awarded only
if funds are available. Funds are only available to support travel to
conferences. The precise number and value of awards will vary from conference
to conference, such that as many students as possible are at least partially
supported for travel expenses.
The
purpose of the award is two-fold:

individual applicants will be taken into consideration.
